Fly Pool

Taken from just above the Pont y Pair bridge this pool lies just to the right hand side of Fir Tree Island.

Although difficult to see on this picture No fishing is allowed in the areas of the 3 light blue ovals to the left of Fir Tree Island.   Please click the map to see a larger version

Access to this pool is from the Pont y Pair Car Park

There are special notes to observe when fishing this pool as detailed below.

• Fly Fishing with floating line only and single handed rods
• Catch and release only
• Size 6 Barbless hooks
• Must be above the White Line to fish
• No casting into the white water of the falls
• One person only to fish this pool at a time
• No bait fishing
• This pool is open to Members only.

No fishing before 0800hrs or after 2000 hrs ( 8pm )
